Faith is an interesting topic to explore. You can put your faith in all sorts of things. People, inanimate objects, groups of people, the unknown, the unseen all require faith at times; there is even a leap of faith towards the things we want to believe in...
The simplest form of Faith is in objects. We do this with such simplicity that it is done unconsciously and without question most of the time. 
We have faith that our car will start in the morning, that the rope will hold as we climb up a wall, that the ladder will hold, the boat will stay a float and the plane will fly us to our destination. We occasionally question these objects, but typically we use faith in our judgment calls to move forward with action.
Faith in the unknown is a harder subject and should be talked about later, as religion is the root of this and the cause for debate lasting hundreds of thousands of years. So to lead to the next faith, I use a religious leader to step into faith of people.
St. Augustine said, “Faith is to believe what you do not see; where the reward is to see what you believe”.
Faith is the highest form of passion a human can embody and can put forth in this life. It encompasses trust, love, honor, devotion and passion.
At the root of all things, faith allows us to leap into love, to devote our lives to a person, to an ideology, to commit to a way of life, to honor one another and to live life with passion and heart felt emotion. It is the battle between Faith and Reason that consumes our lives. Reason exists and rules out of structure and a need for understanding and can use Fear as tool to battle.
Faith lives in the world of believe and trust in the unseen, the unknown. A person can subscribe to the feelings of love faith and devotion but it cannot be touched, it arises out of the act of human emotions.
Faith is also dangerous. Faith in the unknown, the unseen is almost easier as the chance for disappointment is less and generally goes unchecked. Faith in people is far riskier when this type of faith require bi-lateral participation.
Strive for Faith, love and the actions that bring about happiness.
